This was inspired by the slow awakening of the trees in spring. The oil painting depicts the birth of a tree's leaves as they unfold and morph from nymph leaves to mature leaves. The leaves are in various stages of opening with beautiful little flowers reaching toward the sun. The swirling blue texture represents the spring wind.
